This saxophone, made in 1947 and numbered 38147, has a wonderful, colorful and robust sound. This Beautiful Baby has nearly all of it's Original Silver Plating. The horn has clearly been used but certainly not abused and the sound is large, vibrant and glorious. The broad and lovely tonal palette combined with an ease of response makes this instrument a highly exciting horn to play, a Truly Great Alto Saxophone.
