In India, securing an MBBS seat in government colleges ranks among the most daunting challenges worldwide. This difficulty primarily stems from the scarcity of infrastructure and faculty in medical colleges. The government has implemented numerous reforms in the medical education sector, including relaxing regulations for opening new medical colleges and academic requirements for faculty positions, all aimed at increasing the availability of MBBS seats. However, despite these initiatives, obtaining an MBBS seat remains a dream for many.

According to government reports published across various platforms over time, more than 40% of non-clinical and 65% of clinical faculty positions in recently opened medical colleges in the last five years remain unfilled, significantly impacting the learning experience of medical students.
