Beautiful and rare classic. Mercedes Benz 280TE 7 seater auto estate. Made in the 8 months after the adoption of the 24v 2.8 litre straight 6 engine and before the facelift. Has 8 months MOT but is sold as SPARES, REPAIR OR BREAK due to grinding noise from brakes when slowing down. Needs new front OS wing due to dents from vandals before I bought the car and needs paintwork tidying/cleaning due to residue after removal of full length vinyl stickers, both of which make the car look worse than it is. Stalls now and again when cold (MAF sensor?), noisy heater fan bearing and sunroof doesn't work. Starts every time, drives and stops though I wouldn't drive it far without checking/replacing the brakes. Has 7 black leather seats (driver's seat base split and taped), alloy wheels, air con (rare) and tow bar. Has a few squeaks and rattles but is the most comfortable. Mercedes Benz I have ever driven. Genuine reason for sale and anyone who researches would buy this car at the price. No tyre kickers, canvassers or test pilots please.
