Our client are a leading UK food processing and distribution company, headquartered in the West Midlands, supplyng leading food and retail brands in the UK.

They are presently seeking a talented logistics professional for their transport department to support several members of staff within a busy department.

The role will have a principal focus on supporting the transport planning function, working alongside a small customer service team.

The duties will include:

handling driver issues

working with the sales and customer service team re: customer escalations

load and route planning

delivery coordination for a medium sized fleet vehicles together with a large volume of outsourced deliveries through 3PL partners.

liaising with the transport compliance manager to ensure compliant fleet operations in line with prevailing driving regulations
